Objects for Thinking

Useful things, made carefully. The series explores how physical tools – trays, notebooks, folders, instruments – can help preserve order and attention at a desk. Each is designed to be functional first, reflective second.

Be first to know

We’re working with independent craftspeople to develop the first prototypes. Join the list below to hear when the first object is ready to share.

  • Functional editions, built to last
  • Small runs; made with care
  • Each paired with a short maker’s note

About the series

Objects for Thinking grew from a simple question – what happens when the discipline of clear writing meets the patience of craft? Each edition begins as an experiment: an attempt to solve a small, practical problem in a way that feels enduring.

We work slowly, with local and independent makers, testing materials and purpose before release. Every object is produced in limited numbers and accompanied by a short note on its making.

Follow the process

Updates and early sketches are shared through The Current and the mailing list above. There’s no fixed release schedule – only work released when it’s ready.
